Evaluator / Epidemiologist
Amy recently moved from her hometown of Houston, Texas to New Jersey, where her hunt for Tex Mex has been unfruitful, but hope abides. Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Texas, a Master of Public Health from Columbia, and did additional graduate work in Epidemiology at the University of Texas just for fun. Amy has conducted research and evaluation for nonprofits working in medical device development, community health, education, immigration, workforce development, and community development.
When not working, Amy is white-knuckling it through raising two preteen daughters who are just as spirited, unapologetically authentic, and sarcastic as she is. Amy’s talents include talking, eating other people’s cooking, killing plants, learning about cults, and watching the Texans lose. . . over and over.
