The Acting National Czar visited for the community’s drug take back event. The Cecil Whig highlighted the event that allowed residents to safely discard unwanted or expired prescription medications. The coalition was featured in several area newspapers for their Red Ribbon Week proclamation and school activities.

The Bellefontaine Examiner wrote an article about Healthy Habits CHOICE labeling and quick tips in locally owned grocery stores. Logan County CAP installed signage in area stores to promote healthier food choices for consumers. Read the full article here.
The Mercer Council hosted a Knock Out Opioid Abuse town hall meeting highlighting the Coalition, prosecutor’s office, the health care partners, and recovery partners involved in reducing opioid deaths. The opioid epidemic is real, and it is here, and Mercer County is responding. Read more about their efforts here.
