Who We Are
The word “epiphany” means to have a moment of clarity.
Epiphany Community Services began in 2009 after recognizing the need to provide practical, affordable options for evaluation, training, resource development, and technology solutions to under-served organizations. We take great pride in being able to bring our expertise to diverse areas that are traditionally ignored by others.
We are happy to serve clients nationwide.
Our mission is to bring practical solutions to complex problems.
The world is changing; it is difficult for both small and large organizations to keep up with how best to do business, communicate what they do, and obtain resources. It is our vision to partner with our clients to think beyond tomorrow to build the future they desire.
Our client-focused philosophy is based on a simple set of principles.
Honesty: We strive to be transparent in our business practices and decisions. We ensure clients understand all aspects of our work before we begin, and we keep our clients fully informed of the process so that we earn trust and build long term relationships.
Quality: Quality of knowledge, quality of service, and quality of product is the foundation of our practice. With over 60 years of hands-on experience in nonprofit and business communities, our staff brings a high quality of service to all aspects of our work.
Reliability: Saying what we do and doing what we say is not a slogan but our reality. We can be trusted to fulfill our commitments.
Wisdom: Communities are the best source of wisdom about their current needs and hopes for the future. We believe that information gained through listening to the community begets knowledge and knowledge in action begets wisdom to act in the community’s best interest.
Our team has more than 60 years in practical experience in business and non-profit sectors. We focus on five core areas.
Evaluation. We have more than 15 years experience in providing practical evaluation to coalitions, programs and nonprofits and have been part of more than 30 distinct evaluative products.
Training and Technical Assistance. We design and deliver a diverse range of practical training including evaluation, sustainability, leadership, and data collection. We are sought-after experts by such organizations as United Way and Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America.
Coaching and Consultation. Our staff provides coaching and consultation services to assist organizations in change management, and strategic planning, program implementation, and organization effectiveness.
Technology Solutions. We collaborate with our partners to connect our clients with experts in software, hardware, networking, e-communication, and e-commerce in a variety of settings.
Research and Resource Generation. We partner with clients to develop and implement focus groups, community needs assessments, and key informant interviews to understand leadership, poverty, substance abuse, and access to health care. We’ve helped organizations develop sustainable revenue processes resulting in over $30 million in resources granted.
